PRISONER'S PARADOX

Two people are imprisoned on suspicion of committing a crime. And they have a number of possibilities:

If both plead not guilty, the two people will be free.
If both confess to having committed the crime, will have a lesser sentence.
If an accused pleads not guilty and the other, while the other is declared innocent. The whistleblower will be free and receive the maximum sentence betrayed.
And if both plead not guilty and blame the other, both received the maximum sentence.

In this case, the chances are that both are declared innocent and blame the other, receiving both the maximum sentence. For in this is the prisoner's dilemma: The lack of cooperation could lead to negative results that the no-action (inaction) of the majority. The absence of trust causes both suspects the worst choice for collective choice, in pursuit of their individual choice.
